@SW-User Some of them understand how others perceive them here. Even me. And if you are comfortable in your own skin its ok. Because at the end of the day the only people that matter are the ones who are around you in the real world. 🙂

@SW-User Based on my other thread I would say my perception of most people here is pretty damn good.

@DarkHeaven Yes, you as well. This is exactly what I'm talking about, we tend to believe what we tell ourselves other think of us. Which is hardly ever correct.

@SW-User I tell myself horrible things but I definitely don’t wish it to be true. I just feel like it is, though.

@SW-User I think for many it doesn't matter. People are who they are. Its a complicated world we live in. I accept people as they are. Everybody is different.

@Zonuss It’s true. And users on this social site seem to me to sometimes be sort of one dimensional or even myopic in personality. That’s rarely true in offline, real life. Most people are very much a complicated mess of emotions and often conflicting personality traits & characteristics.

@DarkHeaven That's not what I'm saying. I said think [b]or[/b] wish. Some people tend to think they're better than they really are and some believe they're Satan reincarnated and so we tend to believe what others see is what we see. But that's rarely the case.

@Zonuss That's not even related to what we're talking about though, is it? I do agree. But it's not what we're talking about.

@SW-User I think it depends on self esteem.

@SW-User Of course. That’s how people are in general, though. We are not who we think we are and we are not who others think we are. Instead, we are who we think, that others think we are.

@basilfawlty89 Yes, exactly! That's one of the factors for sure. Probably the most important one. But at least you get what I'm saying.

@SW-User yeah I tend to think somewhat negatively of myself, but I don't reveal too much of myself here. At least in public. I dunno how I'm seen tbh. Probably that crazy Anarchist guy that likes Fawlty Towers and has a foot fetish lol

@SW-User I think it is much more complicated than just self esteem, however. I’m pretty confident in many aspects of my life but I hate myself for what I’ve done and what I feel I am inside.

@DarkHeaven Exactly, that's why I think it's only one of the things affecting the way we feel about ourselves. But it's definitely very important.

@SW-User Then what actually are you trying to say. Like be clear with it. 🙂

@SW-User I don’t allow people to see the darkest parts of me and when I get dark I go grey X dark here to protect them. That’s why they think I’m a good person when I’m actually a horrible person. 🖤

@SW-User Like say what is it that you mean. Dont be cryptic on anything. Because everybody has a different perception about themselves. Its not really right or wrong because it is way too complicated to say what is or what is not. But from what I have seen here on the comments I would say that based on the interactions of others many of the users here are aware of how others view them on SW.

@DarkHeaven You are not a horrible person and we've been through that many times. You're a sweetheart. We should care more about the way mental illness affects us, the ones who suffer, and then about everyone else. And your illness is not you. It is something you have to live with but it's not you.

@Zonuss I'm sorry but...what?! I said exactly what I meant, I was not being "cryptic". Read the comments again but it's not really my fault if you don't see what I'm saying.

@SW-User But before I was medicated... what I’ve done... it makes me ill. Or even when I have an episode now. It’s horrible. I’m horrible. I’m the one doing things.
