Nope, any chance we may have had was destroyed by Obama.

@curiosi please explain exactly what obama did to divide this country.
Did he lie to you, daily? Seems he got a financially struggling nation back on track. Seems he was overwhelmingly voted in...twice.
Seems the divide comes from a man who is a known failure. A petty man. A vengeful man. A man who only feels strong by denegrading others.
That is what is dividing this country. Hate driven fear mongering. Ala 45.
@Carla Obama was divisive along the lines of race, religion, nation, and authority. He played the apologist for this nation. He played the apologist for Christianity and Judaism. His remarks were often dog whistles for the chronically defensive and the grievance industry. He encouraged an "us" vs "them" attitude in the population. Obama is a clever, subtle, and sneaky passive aggressive manipulator. He could smile, joke, and sing while he poured gasoline on the fires of discontent. A very charming charlatan, and confidence man. I do not like the man at all. I would rather have a genuine oaf in office, than a deceptive and disingenuous paragon of charm and wit.
@Carla That is above and beyond the horrendous things he and his syndicate did to this country during his eight years of stagnation.

@puck61 congratulations you do have a genuine oaf in the White House. 😊
And I respectfully disagree nearly 100% about Obama. What are some specific “dog whistles” he sounded?
