Myth or truth. The average human gets bored and tired of things really fast?

From what I have observed - very true!

I find this question.....boring.

Unless there is passion for this particular thing, then yes, people typically tire of things quickly. However, if passion is involved, then people can spend entire lifetimes with the particular thing.
