If you could go back in time?
Would you rather be a king/queen in the Victorian Era OR a king/queen in Ancient Egypt?

Being a Queen in the Victorian Era, I will be my own Queen, not be Queen Victoria herself.
I will have an Empire that spans the globe. The sun never sets on the British Empire at that time.
So I get to travel the world to inspect my Empire and to learn more about the world that is under my Crown.
Being a Queen in Egypt would be good as well.
At what period in Egypt I don't know yet.
Maybe at the time of the building of the great Pyramids to know the secret of building them?
To know more of the Egypt that is now lost under the sand?
To see what is now ruins in their glory when they where newer?
Stuff like that.
It seems Egypt Queens where more liberal with makeup and outfits than being a stuffy Queen in the Victorian era despite the size of the Empire.
So I choose being an Egyptian Queen.

Ever since i first read about it fascinated me. I'd try to improve the society in general if i could, and a Pharaoh would have a great deal of influence and power in shaping things, not to be abused of course. I wouldn't care about monuments for myself.
And also i'd introduce the idea of the wheel, which despite having perfume was not something they used :)

@XenonRush Yeah but only a while into their history, after the invasion of the Hyksos i believe.
Of course, it's amazingly interesting. I love many periods of history and have since i was young, even if most don't care for it :)
