Are you ever surprised by great Google reviews?

I often have bad experiences at places that have excellent ratings on Google or Yelp. My mechanic is excellently rated but I've been there several times and they cant find where my car freon is leaking. I keep paying to fill it up and inject dye. Now I've driven over 800 miles into the hot desert and there are no mechanics for miles and my car is blowing huge puffs of pressure out from under the hood every so often. I hope I make it home! I asked them if this could be due to AC leak and they were like um dunno but don't drive it.
