No. Memorial day memorializes veterans that died in our battles, veterans day is an appreciation day for all veterans past and present.

@DoubleRings Are you in Canada? There it's all on November 11 which is also known worldwide as Armistice day -- the end of World War I which was supposed to be "The war to end all wars."
