That's true. Some apps do that
What about this site 👀@xRedx

@soulsrespite Could be, just like our isp. I think they have the right to sell your info to third party companies
What tha faqqqqq?? This site??? Does that??? @xRedx

@soulsrespite No, your ISP. They sell your info, that being said they have access to your web history, frequently visited sites, etc...

@soulsrespite and some apps sometimes use your camera and mic. My phone let's me know when a app was using the mic or camera.
Okay, I no nothing of this. So you’re saying. My phone company can sell my personal information to third parties? @xRedx
So when they are asking for access of your mic and camera what they’re really asking is to spy on me? What phone do you have and how can I set that up for myself? @xRedx

@soulsrespite A have a note 9 and you can just deny permission to whatever apps you want. I hear the Starbucks is among the worst when it comes to that
But what about my phone company. That gives me my service? @xRedx
xRedx · M
@soulsrespite Your internet service provider does. They wait for companies to make them an offer and sell it for marketing purposes

@soulsrespite Hmm, I don't know about your carrier, that's a good question. I think they do, like your geographical location
Thanks for all your info. It was helpful. @xRedx

@soulsrespite remember, deny permission to the apps you're not using or even uninstall if you'd like. Glad to help
