I'v read a portion of the article now. It says:

Deliberately removed! By whom?

@helenS Government. They changed a lot of rules with regard to how much pension money is paid. They changed a lot of rules with regard to how and even IF you qualify for unemployment benefits or certain types of invalidity benefits etc.

Quite whether this is in response to needing to drastically cut costs because of the Brexit departure from Europe i'm not entirely sure.
But i do find it interesting that this Professor was obviously [u]SENT [/u]here to observe and report !

@helenS One wonders just how many other E:U countries operate FOOD BANKS as a direct result their own governments benefit cuts for those most in need.

@Picklebobble2 probably no other country. As we are the only mugs who keep sending money abroad, and bailing out countries, instead of looking after our own people first, cut foreign aid to start with
