do you find people from big cities really think they’re something special when they visit smaller towns/cities?

My siblings and I grew up in the big city. The youngest one and I still live in the city, but my middle brother lives in the west suburbs and he thinks everything in the city is lousy and his suburb is everything. He was just bragging recently about how he paid off his mortgage a few months ago and everything is cheaper there.
