What does it mean when you miss the obvious, often?

You could be stupid. Be prepared to face that.
You could be an outside the box person though. I can come up with elaborate unorthodox methods of doing things, and they're usually very effective. I tend to miss the obvious though. It why I share most ideas before going too deep into them
