Does anyone know of any decent friend-making-type sites/apps?

This site is fine, but I feel like it’s more of a question/answer type of platform. Now that I’m done with the semester, and I don’t have many friends/things to do, I find myself getting pretty bored. I miss being able to talk and discuss things with people, as I would in classes.
Does anyone know of any decent sites for just friends and chatting (no dating)?

You can develop some serious friendships by moving to pms from people you get along with on Q&A.

For making friends online the best bet is to find smaller communities about areas of interest for you. Same deal with in person - find clubs and groups.
