Knowledge Transfer, ever heard of it?

It's an interesting concept :)

In its simplest form, it is teaching someone what you know.
Either one person to another.
Or documenting it so people can pick it up to teach themselves.

Almost everything is a knowledge transfer.

@SW-User You might be right about that, and i might have been unknowingly generalizing, the term seems to have multiple meanings then.
The other meaning i know is the transferring of skills from one area of "expertise" to another, within a person. an example could be using experience picked up working on engines to become a mechanical engineer, something liek that :)

@Axelerator Break it down in a simple form. What does that mean? Teaching. :)

@SW-User Oh you said either as well, i missed that. I think we are in agreeance, just detailing :)
I've never used the term to refer to teaching someone else something, but i like it, might use it some more actually.

@Axelerator Yep. In large organisations, its division of labour. People of different expertise take over their sections of a whole complete project, coming together as one.

It can be as simple as just sharing information, like right now what we are doing with each other, or as complex as each person having their own little stamp on something huge.

@SW-User That's true, a matter of scale one could say :)
