If anyone of the couples from the royal family had a kid with Down’s syndrome would they treat the kid as an equal?

Thanks for the reminder. Yes, I remember reading something to that effect somewhere along the line. Just recently, I read something saying Jackie Kennedy and her sister, Princess Lee Radizwill, didn't get along even though they were raised together. The story goes, Jackie didn't communicate with her much and kept her out of sight most of their adult lives.
