When will mass shootings not be a regular occurrence in America?

@RedtheEmerald Well Republicans can't control this issue entirely. No one can, it's the people that need to change or we need to stop the circulation of firearms. Either of these two are highly unlikely. I think people need to take responsibility instead of blaming inanimate objects and the government. Perhaps a mandatory psychological test before releasing a firearm can stop some of the bleeding.

I'm sure people with bad intentions can pass the test. Some might steal or borrow guns from another. They'll buy them from the black market. It honestly feels hopeless sometimes.

Exactly, it won't be stopped. Even if we ban or impose stricter laws. Circulation will not stop, nor will the mentally unstable and evil people. It's hopeless

How did the other countries manage to get it well under control? Australia had them banned, but they're doing pretty damm fine right now. What can we do to follow that?

We could've but it was always in our rights to own firearms. Now of course, we could have also progressed as well into more reasonable laws regarding firearms but at this point in time it's too late.

It's never too late. Only a few decades women were given the right to vote. Some time before that people of color were given equal rights as well. We can change this county just by making noise. The amendments are called amendments for a reason.

Too late in the sense of circulation. Even if we ban them tomorrow, there are thousands out there and even more in the black market.

So then there is no absolute solution to it. The most we can do it ban firearms.
