When will mass shootings not be a regular occurrence in America?

I often feel ashamed of being an American. I'm ashamed I live in the same country with people that won't blink an eye when so many people are gunned down, but will freak out when you try to control the problem.

Why are we like this? When will this stop?

@MasterLee Even if it is two that still doesn't make it better. Two innocent people died. Two people will never get to live out the rest of their lives because of this. Two families lost loved ones.
