When will mass shootings not be a regular occurrence in America?

I often feel ashamed of being an American. I'm ashamed I live in the same country with people that won't blink an eye when so many people are gunned down, but will freak out when you try to control the problem.

Why are we like this? When will this stop?

I’m not optimistic. The way many people cling to the 2nd Amendment, right or wrong, it’s obvious [b]based solely on results[/b], we’ve demonstrated as a country that we love our guns much more than our children. 😒
