The word robot comes from the Czech robota, which translates to forced labor in English.

@SW-User Interesting, i was not actually aware of that, thank you :)

I'll reward you with one in return.

The world record for a person staying awake the longest is 11 days straight, set by a high school kid, in a tested experiment in the 60's if i recall. And that's with no loss of performance in school or tests :)

@Axelerator No loss in performance? I can't even imagine the kinds of hallucinations that kid would have been experiencing.

@SW-User They tested him everyday, and had him attend normal class, with health people standing by to help in case something happened.
He did about the same all the way through on his scorings amazingly.
Makes you think about differences in people and lack of sleep :)
Don't think there were any hallucinations, but maybe.

@Axelerator I can barely stay awake for 16 hours >.>

@SW-User hehe :) Well people are different.
My record is 89 hours so far, but i'm also the type of mad person who would stay awake simply to feel and study the effects ;)

It was a very interesting experience actually.
