has anyone ever felt like they like some other culture better then their own?

@eMortal You seriously expect me to categorize my understanding and appreciation of all other countries because you consider them vague?? You only seem to focus on the Chinese culture - why is that? And one of the many aspects of Chinese culture which I value and appreciate are the prosody and pragmatics of the language itself - particularly the five tones prevalent in Mandarin Chinese. Did you want to speak about the language or are you just making small talk? If you want me to speak in any depth concerning the five tones you will need to give me at leat five hours in writing time alone and demonstrate to me that you have, at least, a rudimentary understanding of the language. If you wish for me to give you monographs on Chinese art, literature and music, too, you will need considerably more time and may be required to spend several weeks reading my words - when I have the time to write them. However, if you expect me to compress the whole of my appreciation for China and her peoples into one concise and précised sentence as a reply then you are clearly demonstrating a complete lack of respect for a detailed and rich culture.

@EugenieLaBorgia rumors go that JP Sartre did not believe in God because of some lines he wrote. But by the end of his life he regretted that what he took as a mere intellectual gymnastics others made it their PhD thesis. Haha.

@eMortal I like most things about their culture their traditional music the guzheng Xiao and I like their nature and traditional Chinese characters, I love dragons. Im big on new years I think it should be the biggest holiday because it is focused on celebrating the family ancestors and also thinking about future years. I like their food and I like the hard working mindset. if you want me to keep going let me know.
