I am in awe of all cultures other than the on in the country I'm from. I was born and raised in England and when my grandparents came here in the 60's in order for them to get ahead they were forced to assimilate and Be more British. Mockery was made based upon the way they speak. The way they dressed the food they ate, just who they were as people. They didn't pass on a lot of things to us because of fear. I am a foreigner wherever I go.
I love people who embrace their culture and are proud to be authentically themselves.
I am fighting to find out who I am in this process of growing.

@Peppa I am very proud of my heritage on both sides of my family ,there are good things and bad things in most of our histories ,and I am not responsible for the mistakes of my forefathers no more then I am any part of the injustices done to both of my great grandmothers people who were natives ,,not native Americans ,,they were here first
Though I love the scenery and wonders of other countries ,we also have enough of that in our own if we just look and since a lot of my forefathers died to give us the freedoms so many of us take for granted ,,I stopped doing a lot of things the year I couldn't walk ,and one of them was taking simple pleasures for granted ,and one of them is no matter where you are
You have the ability to make it your sanctuary or your hell
the choice most of the time is ours
If you think where you are is hell ,try not walking ,see if its not a lot worse
