Why do some people on SW talk about the US as if it's the only country in the world?

SW isn't even a US site.

Basically when I quit seeing Nike logos all over the world, I know we don't matter that much anymore...in the mean time it's still an awesome place to live...our freedoms give us the balls to brag!
