Why do some people on SW talk about the US as if it's the only country in the world?
SW isn't even a US site.

@FrankietheFly I have friends from the UK ,,lots of beautiful countries make up your union
Not all of us think the US is the only country in the world
When I am unsure where someone is
I end my posts with
Have a good day / night ,whatever time zone your in
My friend in Nigeria is 5 hours different ,
Another in SW Africa is 7
Australia 12
A friend in Canada is on the same times zone as I am
Nice speaking with you
I am from Florida ,of coarse ,,USA

@FrankietheFly you live around the world from me was all that I was saying ,,
So when its day here .I am assuming it could be night there
We are coming into our summer ,,,you may be coming into your winter ,not sure about your seasons compared to ours ,,
but with my friends in Australia
I am dying from the heat and my friend is complaining she is cold because its cold there ,,,understand now ?
I have a friend who is like a brother to me
He lost his Mom to a bombing in Ireland ,now he is a missionary ,He sends me pics of the beautiful places he visits over there ,
But he also sends me heart breaking pics of the not so nice places ,thats why he is there ,to help relieve some of the suffering in his native country
I have another dear friend also doing Missionary work in South America ,,same thing ,,
Very beautiful places ,but also a lot of suffering
I think its the same thing around the world
Very wealthy places that are the envy of the world ,,,and just miles away ,,some of the worst conditions in the world
But to be fair its not just Americans who think they are the only country in the world ,,
people who have lived and died in the same place they were born ,never seeing any other culture then their own ,do have a tendency to assume ,this is how it is everywhere
I have been to very poor countries ,the cities are beautiful
but just outside the city ,the people would rather face the ocean in a tiny boat to try to reach the US ,then to die there
But we do seem to have a lot of arrogant ,assuming people in our country ,but its not limited to the US
But when the majority of people you speak to on some of these sites are Americans ,,it easy to forget that not everyone here is American
So I ask ,,or just say have a good day ,or night ,,depending where you are /time zone your in

I was trying to explain myself to someone who was rude and arrogant to begin with ,I should have passed the post by
I was merely trying to explain being an ass hole is not just an American thing ,,as you made clear
it seems to be a world wide problem ,,you suffer from it as well
