Why do some people on SW talk about the US as if it's the only country in the world?

@LyricalOne I actually kinda love Toronto as well, but being from Alberta the "Toronto is the centre of the universe" rule is strong. I met my wife in Toronto and lived there for a year. It's actually a pretty great city but don't tell my friends I said that.

@LyricalOne I likes it out here. I live in the north in the boreal forest and its all woodsy and lovely. Also going to Banff in a couple of weeks which is just a great time.

@FrankietheFly It's also in the Canadian Rockies which is what I'm referring to. 😉

@LyricalOne @FrankietheFly A lot of cities in western Canada are named after regions in the UK. So Banff is both a town in Scotland and a mountain resort town in Alberta!

@CountScrofula Was there at a particularly busy time and no rooms were available so I drove on to Calgary and stayed near the Saddledome. 😁
