A therapist taught me that to focus on touching, smelling, and hearing things. Touch everything you can. Notice the colors and look at the texture. Feel the texture under your finger tips. What temperature does it feel like? Is it warm, cool, hot, etc.? If you smell something you like then imagine the scent going through your nose. Try to think what it is exactly in it that makes it smell good.
Just walk around using your senses to the greatest extent you possibly can. Before you know you will feel like yourself again.

@SW-User I asked her if it's scary when you "come back" and she said "no it's not". She was right. You don't even notice when it happens.
