@FurryFace Are you kidding in China they eat hard boiled eggs boiled in the urine of virgin boys - so top that.

SW-User
Yea. I’m trying to buy American made.. except for cars. Not that brave yet.

If it is made out of metal or plastic, yes. Their stuff is brittle!
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@abe182 That leaves wooden things 😂
Chinesium is a thing, but only for cheap goods - you want something built out of the good stuff, the Chinese will do that for you as well, with correspondingly higher costs.
But if you’re buying a breaker bar for $5... what can you expect?

No but I wonder why when you go to the actual country and buy items and it’s in poor condition than the ones over seas that’s made in China
SailorMarz · F
I don't pay attention to things like that lol
@SailorMarz I'm made in the usa

@SooperSarah so was i, high five
Dan193 · 31-35, M
Only if it's expensive
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
Not necessarily - but if it’s made in China on the cheap, that’s rarely a good sign.
QA is a matter of policy and investment, you can build things in China as well as anywhere, but you’ll lose a lot of the savings when you do it right.

not really
Anonymouslyyours86 · 36-40, F
I believe it’s not made by Chinese I reckon the things made in China is made by western people/ men because the westerners makes things with detail and prestige... this is my thought and they aren’t being paid good wages at all
Anonymouslyyours86 · 36-40, F
Then how come they’re designed in California @QuixoticSoul
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@Anonymouslyyours86 Design and contract manufacturing are vastly different things.
Bottom line is that Apple pays for high quality manufacturing with solid QA, and that’s what their Chinese partners deliver. If you want to pay the bare minimum and have low standards, Chinese will deliver that too.

You’d think they’d have more trillionares in China if that were the case, everyone would be rich @QuixoticSoul
yeronlyman · 51-55, M
I bought a DJI Mavic Air drone... excellent technology and build
jim44444 · 70-79, M
I do if I want a quality item. The majority of Chinese made consumer goods are low quality. I find it better to pay more for a high quality item produced domestically that will last longer, perform better and has a better service reputation.
