How a few drinks makes me so....physically inept. It’s barely been a few hundred meters and my muscles are fatigued. I don’t get like this when I’m high on weed, despite them both being “depressants”

@BalmyNites Oh cannabis can have depressant effects, sure, but that kind of needs to be balanced against the fact that it can just as easily act as a stimulant, hallucinogen, or none of the above. It doesn't really sort well into the crude classification scheme we have for psychoactive drugs, and it's just been many years since I've really heard someone try to claim it "is" this or that one kind.
@BalmyNites Okay. The severely elevated heartrate and huge bursts of energy that often come on with cannabis highs and its rarer hallucinatory adventures that occasionally dwarf those had on the tryptamine hallucinogens are facts as well, though.
Marijuana is generally described as a depressant with stimulant and hallucinogenic properties. However, it is not simply a depressant, a hallucinogen or a stimulant.
Not that it matters what it's "officially classified as", anyway, it only matters what it actually does, which is more or less what I've described, as anyone who's actually used the stuff much could readily tell you.
As for what makes me think you "wish to have this debate with me", I guess the fact that you started it yourself by responding to my comment and are proactively carrying on with it? What reason have you given me to assume otherwise?
I happen to believe that THE most important issue is the official classification in law & FYI - I've actually come into contact with quite a few people who have "used the stuff"
@BalmyNites It's nice and predictable to see you quickly moved your goalpost from "I only care about scientific fact" to "man, fuck science, legal classification is what really matters" once you realized this arbitrary opinion of yours to which you're clinging with bizarre tenacity wasn't treading water much in the former domain.
I'm also not surprised to hear you've only "come into contact" with people who've used it, nor to see that your entire retort to me can essentially be summed up as "NO U".
Oh wow, I was blocked because someone chose to start and keep up a conversation with me in which they made themselves look as uneducated as they actually are, and they decided that must've been somehow my fault. Never saw that one coming.
