More of a P.S.A. than a question.

Watch out for the phishers. I have been hit up by some three times this week.

I get rid of them by asking why they picked me to write to. They avoid answering

at first, but if you keep at them they stop P.M.ing you.

There seem to be a lot of them on here. Big red flag is if their profile is blank though. They are fun to play with at times though, I find it odd that they only want to chat on here for a short time and then want to switch to another app to chat with you.

@Dainbramadge I had one late last week that wanted to chat, as soon as I went to another app to chat that person started wanting me to send her (although doubtful it was really a woman) gifts because we were such good friends. It's a good laugh how they seem to think after a couple days that you are best of friends and willing to buy them stuff...or as so many of them say stuffs.

@gmatthewb I did that to one on Twitter. I had a lot of fun with them. To long of a story to tell but instead of sending the money to Dallas like she said in her profile , it turned out to be Nigeria. LOL

@Dainbramadge Yes, I get them saying they live in the US but are visiting a country in Africa and have no money for food stuffs (always like that one) or to get back home again. I think it throws them off when I say I don't live in the US.

@gmatthewb Oh wow. I never thought of that. LOL

@Dainbramadge I had one who claimed to live in Canada but still wanted me to send money in US dollars. Wouldn't say why "she" wanted US dollars either. Was entertaining.
