How do you feel about down loading aps tyat want to invade your privacy?

I just bought a cell phone through AT&T, I've used them for years w/out any real issues. So I was going to put my contacts in the internal phone book and right away there's a problem, my phone book on my phone wants access to my photos, all my files and my location, all of which is nobodies business except my own. So I denied it permission and because I won't give it the power to invade my privacy, I can't store my contacts in my phone which is a major inconvenience. How do you feel about these apps that force you to give up your constitutional rights. What are they doing with all that information and who all do they sale it to, and what are they doing with it?

No way around it at the moment.
I wouldn't mind so much if I thought it was just paranoid government desperate to make sure they were keeping tabs on security.

But we live in a time where every like; every ❤️; every negative is filed;logged and sold to (supposedly)advertisers.

And when folk complain the company likes to turn round and change its terms of service ! So you can't access their site unless you do !

As a rule I'm very careful what sites I use.
Only post recent photos. And if you post photos of others, where's their protection ?
