How do you feel about down loading aps tyat want to invade your privacy?

I just bought a cell phone through AT&T, I've used them for years w/out any real issues. So I was going to put my contacts in the internal phone book and right away there's a problem, my phone book on my phone wants access to my photos, all my files and my location, all of which is nobodies business except my own. So I denied it permission and because I won't give it the power to invade my privacy, I can't store my contacts in my phone which is a major inconvenience. How do you feel about these apps that force you to give up your constitutional rights. What are they doing with all that information and who all do they sale it to, and what are they doing with it?

If it’s a trusted app I don’t mind.. like they just want permission if you decide that you want to attach a photo of a contact to their number.. so when they call their face pops up on the screen.. that said I never do my banking on my phone nor do I ever use my real name for anythIng online
