@rckt148 Good advice for a major case of systemic poison ivy. I had a case just like yours in HS. I was cleaning out the back yard of my godparents and, before I knew it, I was literally immersed in poison ivy. I had no idea until the next day when I could barely breathe or see.

@Theseus I spent 3 weeks couped up with elder people that lived to play rummy ,but when I beat them I was cheating ,
it had rained no stop 3 weeks and I was tired of being indoors so I cleaned out Grandma's flower beds ,in the rain
I don't have to tell you what happens next
Another time I had a creek flowed behind my house and I wanted to put a smoker down there ,
have a little chill place to sit and relax by the stream ,,I even damned it up so we could swim and fish there ,,it was nice but not worth the pain
so I had a sword and a tomahawk and I set out to clearing the bank ,and hearing water running needed to relieve myself
A few days later I am in the ER looking like a Sumo Wrestler someone has tried to beat his eyes out of his head ,,they are swelled shut
Then the doctor tells me in china they paint the great gong with Ivy extract ,,so if its tampered with they know who did it and it only takes the amount to cover a pin head to infect you
I don't play with it anymore ,and I know the quickest way to get rid of it ,,see the doctor

@IstillmissEP Single malt scotch is much mo'betta and slightly less addictive. The way it works is this: pour out about two fingers' worth in a rock glass, dip a small cotton ball into the scotch, rub the rash with it and down the rest. Repeat as necessary until the itch is gone...or you pass out. 😊
