Is illegal immigration as prevalent as it is in the US in other countries?

Do people with expired visas live in countries like Latvia or something like that? How common is that? Does it actually happen? How tough are immigration laws in other places compared to the ones of the US? Could you actually get a job without proper documentation in say, Australia?

We get about a 100,000 people from Bangladesh crossing India-Bangladesh border illegally every year.

People can have green cards and work for years in the US and pay taxes.
I don’t know. People can’t let go of the past.
Try justifying breaking the law because the law got to ‘be’ in an unjust fashion to which we might as well be at war or shut down. @Spoiledbrat

Drowned Syrian refugees have been washing up on European beaches for a couple years.. Germany had some weird rape convention, where supposed illegal refugees went on rape sprees.. not sure if it’s actually true, but it was in the news at one point

@Deadcutie I don't remember the details, but I think the so-called rape convention was just one incident, and it was dealt with by police in the manner one would expect such an event to be dealt with.

If a country has immigration laws, you can be sure it has immigrants in it breaking those laws. Even to so-called shithole countries have illegal immigrants.
