Did anyone else see the northern lights last night?

@Mongoheadmonster don’t they appear during the equinox periods of the year?
I know in the Southern Hemisphere where I live, there are only few places other than Antarctica where you can see them, Southern Tasmania, Southern NZ but the best place to see them near the Southern tip of Argentinia/Chile. But there were times where they were spotted as far north as NSW

@SW-User not sure on the equinox. I know they're caused by solar wind reacting to the earth's magnetic field.
A few times I've experienced the sound they make....when they're really vibrant and close...they crackle

I could be wrong, but I just assumed from people announcing spotting the lights that time of year. At least the northern lights are more accessible than the Southern lol.Unless you want to chill with the penguins 🐧🐧🐧@Mongoheadmonster
