Is it me? Or it ig really easy to be misunderstood or to misunderstand whild texting, im(ing) as opposed to old fashion face to face?

A little respect goes a long way here
if a misunderstanding happens and your not blocked right away ,I find further explanation can resolve most problems and lack of communication ,,
Or I go for default
I apologize ,and try to explain a different way
explain why I am here and I mean NO ONE any harm or disrespect
ask for a chance to explain my comment ,,a lot of it is the age old problem ,every generation thinking they are wiser then the one before ,,only experience can prove them wrong about that .
Even the youngsters quick to tell me my age is not a sign of anything ,,,well when they are older ,,,see what they think then LOL
I got along this long without it ,,,I won't die
I sometimes run into it in my age group ,but when I ask why the attitude ,,we discuss it like mature adults ,problem usually resolved ,,,if not ,,,I still have 480 blocks left

Its very hard to express ones self through text. More times than not it is received different than intended. We should bear this in mind while reading q & A.

@curiosi i know that for a fact!😆
Totally, the written word is very often misconstrued. Context would help, but there’s no promise of that when texting.

It’s nice to see one another’s reactions, tone... there usually isn’t any room for confusion then.

Words on any screen are way too easily misunderstood.
