Anyone else think it's time to get rid of the penny?

I don't use cash much anymore but when I do I hate getting pennies. I think the penny should be done away with and everything is rounded to nearest nickle. I am speaking of American currency!

It’s so much easier without pennies. We got rid of them in Canada quite a few years ago already. I think the last ones were produced in 2012. I have a colleague who will still try to use them, just to confuse the cashiers, haha.
