Bob owns a professional basketball team. Do you think its fair to pay the best player on the team 20 million, and pay the guy at the end

of the bench 1 million...... or should all players make the same amount ?? if you believe that none of these players deserve this type of money, then who do you believe should regulate the salaries ??

The only solution to this issue, is to unionize. This would accomplish a couple of things:

1. Resolve the fair pay issue.

2. Take sports agents out of the equation.

Do you think players will support that? No, because they all dream of being the person on top.

@Budwick You're incredibly skilled at missing the point.

@Northwest You say that a lot, to a lot of people.

HAve you considered that maybe, just maybe, it's you? MAybe you are not doing such a good job of making the point you claim no one ever understands?
@Northwest Bob owns a team in which the players are already unionized..... but, there is still a large disparity in pay between the players. The NBA, NFL, MLB and NHL all are already unionized, and all have large disparities between the players pay.

Yeah, because that is really what sports are all about. That's the whole point of being an athlete. Its what spectators want to see as well.

@SheCallsMeCrushDaddy The NHL union is a bit unique. One of the things they implemented is a salary cap, which makes it difficult to have the fluctuations we have in Baseball or Football.
