@lorne13 what do you mean a real referendum
lorne13 · 61-69, M
@Nyloncapes one where everyone understands the issues and everyone is allowed to vote
Nyloncapes · 61-69, M
@lorne13 who do you mean everyone , what issues, you mean what would happen if we left EU
MarkA · 56-60, M
I voted leave because I felt we were being bullied by the EU.
And look what happens when we try to leave....we are being bullied by the EU.
What a surprise.....😕

@MarkA Yes. That is an accurate summary of the situation. Just not all of it. There is a massive opportunity for profit by some in a No Deal Brexit as they get to re-write the rule book to suit them. And the immigration factor plays into the hands of some. Plus Angela Merkels looming retirement will change the German position on migration and payments to the EU and the eastern states you mentioned are vulnerable to Russian pressure. There are so many pieces in play its like a break shot on a snooker table.
MarkA · 56-60, M
I'm sure you're right.
Exciting, isnt it?!

It's a joke why should parliament or commons have anyway we had vote , and if was leave, and are they not breaking the law when article 50 was triggered and all signed , it was 400 to 85 I think, to trigger it and it stated we leave EU 29 th of march deal or no deal

All I know is the people voted to leave the eu so why can't that woman get it done.
katielass · F
@Nimbus I saw that. I wnder if it's a issue similar to ours. We can elect repubs to be majority in the house and senate and even the WH but so many of the repubs are, in my estimation, weak. They care more about being liked, or for the media not to criticize them that they screw over their employers, aka us. While the dumbocraps really really want the power the repubs don't really care, most of them are ok with being in the minority because they still get paid the same and get the same perks. They could care less abut the job we send them there to do. That's why Trump got elected, in a nutshell. And eventually the repubs in dc are going to find themselves replaced by dumbocraps. No minority, no place, out....period.
katielass · F
@Nimbus yeah, I figured you guys had the same issue, essentially. I really feel sorry for the young people. The left has essentially robbed them of an education (so they can't recognize the signs), they've brainwashed them to believe what they want them to believe and they are running towards fascism, totalitarianism, whatever you want to call it, doesn't matter, but they're rushing towards slavery.
