Do you ever read someone eles's profile ?

And feel like you diddn't put enough effort into your own? I just read someones, about me, and it blew me away how much information was in it and how much time was spent writing it. I feel so lame.

Yes, I have, and there was one that really impressed me. And yes, that made me want to put more into mine too. The thing is, I'm not ready to do that just yet. I want to get to a point where I have resolved some stuff, one way or another, and then I'll feel ready to rewrite my About Me. At the moment I'm just a work in progress.

I know that some people have some weird ideas about people with lengthy About Me sections, but I appreciate the effort that they put into it, and how it lets us get to know them a little.

@TeresaRudolph71 Were you more open on EP? There is a saying that comes from the Bible in some form. This may actually be paraphrased but... if you wait until everything is perfect, nothing will ever get done. Hope that didn't come off wrong. Just thought maybe that would be helpful information to pass along. :-) Can't wait to read your updated about me.

@Dainbramadge I'm not sure if I was more open on EP or not. Maybe I was. EP felt different to me. It felt more like a community. I felt more like I was among friends when I posted and when I responded to the posts in my feed. SW is different.

No, that didn't come off wrong, and you have a very good point. I have to start where I am now, or I'll never start at all. I also think that I'm different now. I felt more self-confident on EP, and I'm a mess now. On EP, I was caring, yet detached. Now, I've developed all kinds of emotional attachments, and I'm confused and a little scared.

Thanks for the wise words. I needed to hear that. There are some things that I've been putting off to the side for too long now, but better late than never.

And I look forward to being able to revise my About Me. :)

@TeresaRudolph71 You are right about the community feeling on EP. But there were also so many more people there. I think that has a lot to do with it. I'm glad that came off good. It was what the preacher told me and my ex-wife about having our first child before we were married. LOL Good luck. :-)

@Dainbramadge Thanks! And yes, I think it was because there were so many more people there. The feed default setting showed just posts from the Questionator, friends, and groups, and there were still plenty of posts to look at.

And on that note, I think I'm going to make a list, break it down, and see if I can check off one thing (or at least work on one thing) each day. :)

Thanks again. :)
