It happened.... I've always made sure they were made aware of their error

What do you think of this one? I went with my youngest brother and his wife to their son's kindergarten graduation. While we were standing outside the doors of the auditorium, waiting to go in, here comes the teacher's assistant from the other end of the hallway. She passed up the parents, walked up to me, patted my shoulder, and said, "Congratulations, Grandma!"

I was stunned and shocked. I am only six years older than my brother and don't look anywhere NEAR my age. And I didn't know her from Adam or Eve. My brother did say, "That's his aunt - and my SISTER!" rather quickly, but that's what happens when you assume something you don't know. The woman was embarrassed worse than I was angry.
