You fall in love with someone, you guys decide to get married and she invites you to her house and you ask her father

Luckily I didn't have that happen to me but if it did I would talk to him about why he didn't want us to get married. Try to address his conserns and come up with a solution. If all else failed I would see if the woman I loved would still want to get married and if she did we would just go do it. It all depends on the woman and how she would feel about the situation.

Ask why. What can I do to be worthy in your eyes? What are the flaws you see that I don’t?
If he’s being stubborn and just saying no because that’s his little girl I’ll marry her anyway. But if he has legitimate concerns I would very much like to hear them so that I can improve myself.
