Where in Italy are you going? I LOVE Italy.
Cuppy · 22-25, F
@Danez Rome to start with.
Danez · M
It’s beautiful there. The architecture, the people, their language, the food, the wine.
helenS · 36-40, F
@Danez ... and especially Trastevere!
Danez · M
@helenS I would love to live there if if weren’t for my kids here
helenS · 36-40, F
@Danez Take your kids, and, if at all possible, stay with them in Rome for a full month, preferably in April/May. I will be an experience they will never forget.
Danez · M
@helenS they are in college and wouldn’t move there.
SW-User
@helenS why do you say? Why April/May?
helenS · 36-40, F
@SW-User In summer it's very hot and dry, and winter is often rainy. The beauty of late spring in Rome is almost unbelievable.
SW-User
@helenS I believe you. I have a photograph from a friend, artist, gifted to me reflecting the light and snow falling on the sidewalks. He's obsessed with Rome, and was surprised by how it could snow in Rome.
helenS · 36-40, F
@SW-User Never seen snow in Rome myself when I was there in winter. All I remember is rain falling down all the time.
SW-User
@helenS You live close by to Rome? He did say it was extremely rare. Like a once in a thousand years occurrence.
helenS · 36-40, F
@SW-User No I live in Central Europe, but I have a close friend in Rome, and I visit him from time to time.
SW-User
@helenS Where in Europe? I'm probably more fond of you, without knowing you, then many I meet here. You can encourage to see where I live different ;-)
