I'm writing an essay on euthanasia but I can't find any articles from academic journals that are in favor of it

I have to talk about the pro-side, the con-side, and my side in the essay. I've already found a source to use for the con-side... Just struggling to find any good sources for the pro-side

Try looking for arguments in support of abortion, not that I support either except in the most extreme cases.

@Anonymartyr abortion and euthanasia are very different...
@ForeverGrowingOld only the age is different. Professionally anyone in the physical or mental health careers cannot consider anyone to be of right mind while requesting suicide. There may be some cases where a patient may be suffering so extremely, and beyond any available treatment- such as myself, but in these cases it would and should be reviewed by the court system and not just the medical/psychological systems.

@Anonymartyr an adult can consent, a child in a womb cannot.
@ForeverGrowingOld An adult can not give consent for suicide- the request itself is an indication of poor mental health which means they are not in their right minds any more than the unborn children who are aborted were. To write a last will and testament "being of sound mind" is a requirement just for the allocation of valuables after death. Is a person's life worth less than their valuables?

@Anonymartyr there's a difference between being suicidal and knowing that you would rather die than live months or years in suffering.
