It seems to me the roots of all extremism comes when people living together see each other as faceless threats, when attacks on strangers is acceptable because they are just representatives of another group rather than individuals with individual values and as well as individual sins. I can only see the violence continuing until that is somehow addressed

@pagandad that is absolute bullshit. Everybody carries weapons, more people die.
This was a freak attack.
Things like this don't happen because we don't wander around with weapons like the US where people die all the time because of guns! Our gun laws will be even tighter.
