Overly complicated and redundant outlets.
The Union Jack
Radios with longwave receivers.

@MethDozer lol, sounds like the 1950's :)

@Nimbus Oh probably, but those things are practically nonexistent here, then or now. I went the unique route.

@MethDozer Full marks for that 👍️

@Nimbus Has anybody said duvet yet?
Nimbus · M
@MethDozer lol, no, you're the first and correct :)

@Nimbus What about eggs in the pantry or on the counter?
Nimbus · M
@MethDozer Noo, they go in the fridge.

@Nimbus That one seems to go back and forth with each new Brit I encounter. So divided.😅

@MethDozer Indecision is a Brit byword.

Just look at Brexit ;)

@GeenaF lol, excellent.

@Nimbus I can't. I just can't anymore. I used to like being informed but I just can't look at anything about Brexit or Trump anymore. It's just too ridiculous and too time consuming.
Nimbus · M
@MethDozer I understand that.
It's a news fatigue that drains the soul as it is just so depressing too.
MethDozer · M
@Nimbus That and it never seems to go anywhere. It's all a bunch of convoluted shitshows. Not much sense in trying to figure out a tire fire when it's just gotta burn itself out anyway.
Nimbus · M
@MethDozer True.

Just pass me the beer, OK :)
