@Nimbus The thing about wallpaper, it’s not all that easy to remove without messing up the wall texture...

@cherokeepatti Exactly!
I just don't have the patience.

@Nimbus had farm neighbors that leased the farm, the lady would work all winter fixing up the house a room at a time, she kept the living room wallpapered...when they’d move to another farm to work it she would do the same...made the old houses look nice...thought the people leasing to them were basically using them to up the value and rent of the farms.

@cherokeepatti Yes, it can work that way but these days seems so old fashioned.

@Nimbus I watch home makeover shows and it’s rare for them to put any wall paper into a home they are remodeling. If they do it’s generally a small place like over a desk. I think a better option would be to stencil the wall. Then if you want to change the colors etc. you paint over with KILZ paint and then repaint it however you like. I worked for a custom home builder and they would put wallpaper in every home they built, especially living rooms but also bathrooms & kitchen. This was in the mid-70’s and I thought the wallpaper was ugly and boring, they liked gold and cream color and little specks or textures.

@cherokeepatti Yes, it takkes too much time, it's as as simple as that.
