@SW-User Yeah, I put the bird cages in the hallway, closed all the doors and I curled down in the bottom of the linen closet in the hallway till the tornado passed over the house. When it was over I took the birds and put them back in the living room. And when someone came here I told them story of what I did and how the tornado sounded. That bird listened to me tell the story and when I was finished he started saying “Weep, weep”...he was telling us how scared he was too. He knew what I was talking about for sure.

@cherokeepatti animals are smarter than humans realize.

@SW-User That’s why I talk to my birds so much, I explain things sometimes...they’ll ask what I’m eating and I show them and tell them the foods. Sometimes they ask other questions.

The only thing I’m looking forward to in winter is shroom season and my yearly winter solstice trip lol.@SW-User

@SW-User you guys seem to have perfect temperatures in winter. The other day I ran to the mailbox in shorts and a hoodie lol. It was 45°F and people looked at me like I'm insane!😝

My dads got a friend staying over from Brisbane and it barely gets cold up north. He forgot how cold it gets down here lol.@SW-User

@DuchessOfMapleSyrup neighbor’s trash cans if it’s yard waste pickup day, which it’s not this time. I lost an almost new trash can & lid a couple years ago when it was windy and I put it out on the curb
