I climbed up on the roof of a two-story farmhouse when I was 2 years old. My uncle was replacing shingles and heard me tell him to be careful and not fall. He said his blood felt like ice water as he carefully scooted back and picked me up under his arm and held on while he climbed down the extension ladder with me. I don’t know what he said but I had a fear of heights after that...I remember going over.bridges and getting dizzy.
