Do you ever have weird dreams?

I'm not even sure I could adequately explain... Like some sort of acid trip weirdness that is like Adventure Time level weird with a dash of anime oddness/action. Not nightmarish, just out of nowhere weird that leaves you asking "What the hell was that" in the morning.

Maybe only the nerds out there will get the references, but I'm pretty sure everyone should understand the context.

I have nightmares a lot.

@Wurkoutgurl I don't get nightmares that often. Fortunately on the rare occasion, it's never anything happening to me, it's more like watching some event unfold. But I have definitely been left creeped out and depressed on mornings.

@grayhalo mine are too real. Always someone from my past coming after me. I'm always running away and feel like I'm going to die any second.

@grayhalo I also get sleep paralysis sometimes. That is so scary.

@Wurkoutgurl The sleep paralysis is the worst. Havn't had that in a while, but Iv'e had it a few times. One time I had the joy of a dark figure standing over me, yelling. Good times. Jury is still out on how much of a dream that one was.

@grayhalo I've woken up in the middle of the night to see a dark figure standing near me. I call him the shadow man. That's crazy!

@Wurkoutgurl They are shadow people, according to the research. Only had the dark figure once. But the other times it felt like someone was nearby. I've sort of gotten used to breaking free of it. Sort of. Mostly involves me getting really pissed and sending very creative threats to whatever is out there. Of course this might all just be me dreaming, but I have not had that in a long time.
