Technically you can use it as a dating site, and there are options to select that say you are looking to date.
That being said, I don't think it would work well as a dating site.

@baileyx Normally dating sites find people that are close to you. We have people all over the world here. Additionally, most people aren't here for dating, so the odds of finding someone to date that's serious about it is very slim.
