What is the oldest age individual that you feel comfortable chatting with online? What is the youngest?

I know the general rule for dating a younger person is half your age plus 7 years. But what about chatting? And the oldest?

For me, the youngest is probably around 35 yo if it's flirty chat...and about 60 to 65 for the oldest (I'm 56). For platonic chat, I'd say any age might do.

It depends on where the chat is going. I've chatted with people in their 20s who needed help with certain issues, they appeal to the mother in me and I've chatted with much older people. It's usually more about who people are than about their age, but I do prefer to chat with people around my age range.

@diablesse I have found it intriguing to talk with all ages, however I do watch my somewhat flirty persona when I notice someone of younger age. I don't want to be creepy. Still I'm fascinated by youthful enthusiasm. And I am fascinated by the experiences of the older ages.
