What is the oldest age individual that you feel comfortable chatting with online? What is the youngest?

I know the general rule for dating a younger person is half your age plus 7 years. But what about chatting? And the oldest?

For me, the youngest is probably around 35 yo if it's flirty chat...and about 60 to 65 for the oldest (I'm 56). For platonic chat, I'd say any age might do.

When I chat I chat with any age. But the younger they are say below 20 it starts getting a bit hard to know what to talk about and having common interests. As for older,(say 45 plus) same thing applies the more an age gap the harder it is to have things in common and know what to talk about.

I'm 35 btw.

@GuitarGhostDK That's probably the same criteria as I have. It's not so much about the age difference but about what the two have in common. I have gone outside my limits occasionally quite comfortably, but in general it's 35 to 65 for me.
