Is it wrong that I only want a (male) friend and not a boyfriend?

I feel bad whenever someone misunderstands me thinking I'm into him, not to mention the disappointment that someone only thought of me as a partner and now I'm not interesting anymore...

Yeah I wanted to fall in love with her and her close friends but I am too shy to talk with them and I am not a lover of exercise so I hated myself for not being enough for her and her choices of friends @Melpomene
